Installing ConsoleOne on Windoze Environment

Not my favourite subject…however, general population seems to be using windoze so here it is….

1. Grab the latest and greatest of ConsoleOne from novell website. (as of July 08 its 1.3.6h).
2. Grab also the latest and greatest of Novell Client for Windows from the website (4.3.1 SP1).

3. Install first the Novell Client prior installing ConsoleOne. Install ConsoleOne after successfully installing Novell Client

4. Run the Novell Client….you will have to fill in the login dialog box..
i. admin ID
ii. admin Password
iii. server IP.
iv. context

5. Once you are logged from the Novell Client….run the ConsoleOne and logged into your e-Directory

That’s it..
